Lewisport started in the Highlands of Scotland and became the largest trials dealership in Scotland with two retail outlets and two mobile sales units attending local and national events. Acting on an opportunity one of our other business’ provided us, we decided to immigrate to the USA. We sold everything, including Lewisport (which is still going to this day), and with 3 suitcases and a small crate of belongings we arrived in New Mexico in March 1999. In New Mexico we joined the New Mexico Trials Association. We became managers and sponsors of “Team Lewisport” & “Team New Mexico”, to enable them to compete Nationally. In 2003 we left our good friends of the desert and moved to California and joined the Sacramento P.I.T.S. trials club. In a desire to continue promotion of the sport of Observed Trials through our role as a Trials motorcycle dealer, parts and service agent, and sponsorship of a few individual riders we have now established the Lewisport California Youth Trials Team
