At Vertigo Motors we work towards improving the present, but with our sights set further ahead. Hence, the technical team continually seeks new enhancements to propel the brand to the forefront of trials, particularly in terms of innovation. Our drive stems not only from passion but also from the collective experience of our team members.
The technical advancements we’re unveiling have undergone thorough testing by the Vertigo Motors test team. Our aim is to deliver a genuinely efficient product that surpasses all previous standards, ensuring an enhanced experience for all our customers.
The new Nitro RS2 introduces several new features honed in the most challenging competitions, including the rigorous long-distance trials like the Scottish Six Days Trial, the Scott Trial, Three days of British American Cup and the Three Days of Santigosa – all clinched by Vertigo riders. Additionally, it draws from the diverse trials of the TrialGP and X-Trial World Championship, in which Vertigo Motors participated during the 2023 season.
The 2024 Nitro RS, known as the RS2, represents a significant enhancement over its predecessors, the Nitro RS and RSR, which had set the new standard for the green brand. The Nitro RS2 emerges as the latest racing weapon from Vertigo Motors.
The powerhouse of the Vertigo Nitro RS2, its potent engine, has undergone significant improvements, particularly in management: the power maps have been revised to optimize performance. However, one of the most notable improvements that the new Nitro RS2 presents is the ‘onboard 0 TPS’, which facilitates the maintenance of the injection body by allowing the calibration of the TPS by simply using the “man overboard”, eliminating the need for a computer.
The chassis boasts several new enhanced features, including a lighter frame brace design that also facilitates radiator cooling, along with the updated rear subframe featured on the new Vertigo Nitro. Additionally, the rear suspension height has been reevaluated to ensure more efficient response. True to form, the fork remains from Tech Factory.
In addition to the existing features from the previous model, including the Vertigo-designed linkage system, machined aluminium brake callipers, footpegs, 6mm crankcase protector, red anodized rims, and silver machined hubs, the new Nitro RS2 incorporates the latest enhancements outlined earlier.
The new Vertigo Nitro RS2 is complemented by a distinctive, vibrant livery that ensures easy recognition of the RS2. Most of the plastics and protectors are adorned with ‘snakeskin,’ offering added protection against bumps and scratches in key areas such as the fork, swingarm and subframe.
The Vertigo Nitro RS2 will soon be available in 125cc, 225cc, 247cc, 280cc and 300cc displacements.

Palau-Solità i Plegamans, 8 September 2023 – Vertigo Motors has refined its range of trial bikes for 2024 with a series of improvements that are the result of research, racing experience and a passion for trial. The new Vertigo Nitro Works 2024 range of motorbikes features all of these improvements that will undoubtedly make it even easier for riders to enjoy their experience on a bike incorporating top quality cutting-edge elements.
New mapping and engine enhancements
The engine has, undoubtedly, undergone improvements. Extensive racing experience has helped to configure new power maps across all Nitro 2024 models. This advancement represents continuous adaptation to rider needs, offering unparalleled control over the bike’s power and performance.
Racing demands exceptional rider and machine performance and, in this respect, Vertigo has achieved it with a new injection body calibration that is included across the Works 2024 range. This adaptation ensures instant response from the throttle and the power needed to get through any zone. In addition, the layout of the power unit has been optimised, improving cooling and performance in all conditions.
A new, lighter and more efficient rear subframe
Just as the species evolves to adapt to its environment, Vertigo Motors has worked on one of the key aspects of the trial bike’s chassis. The new Nitro features a machined 6082 aluminium rear subframe in its 2024 range. This lighter, more efficient design marks an adaptation to the trial terrain, providing greater strength and durability.
Continuing with the Nitro Works’ new features, one finds a new crankcase protector. A 6mm shield in 7075-T6 aluminium ensures that the engine is protected against any impact it may suffer.
Finally, the new design of the Vertigo Nitro Works 2024 retains its trademark deep green colour and its attractive decoration, unique to the Nitro, which includes ‘snakeskin’ stickers that protect as well as adding high resistance to numerous parts of the bike such as headlight, mudguards, frame, filter cover, front suspension tubes and swingarm.
These improvements, which have undergone rigorous competition testing, represent the culmination of Vertigo’s evolution in 2024.
Vertigo Motors will market the Nitro Works 2024 models in four displacement sizes: 125cc, 225cc, 250cc and 300cc, which is available throughout the Vertigo dealer network now!
